Dogs of SSLA

Since our team has more dogs to its name than people, we thought we’d give a shoutout to the heroes sleeping on our feet, barking at passing squirrels, knocking our coffee over with their tails, and generally causing a ruckus while we’re digging into your work.

Luke (Linda’s dog) has tastes as discerning as his ears are floppy. Luke goes in for the classics, the taste-making masterpieces, magnum opuses, and tour de forces that have stood the test of time. So obviously his favorite movie is Airbud.

Aloy and Twig (Emelie’s dogs) are distinguished consumers of literature. Twig can often be found with his snout in a cookbook or absorbing keen texts on the subjects of sticks (duh) and birds, while Aloy prefers to curl up with a tome pontificating on the joys of hunting and nature. Aloy also requests how-to books on digging holes.

Townes (Kim’s dog) dreams about using his unreasonably large ears to flap away freely into the upper branches where his chipmunk friends call sweetly to him, which is why he likes books about flying things—dragons and rocket ships and broom sticks, oh my!
